Cher gave me the best advice

I was enjoying New Year's Eve at my friend’s cabin up north, a glass of bubbly in my hand, appreciating how much my business has grown in the past year and thinking about what I wanted to celebrate a year from now - on December 31st 2022.

We pulled out the karaoke machine and I conjured up my inner Cher to give a rousing rendition of, "If I Could Turn Back Time."

I might not have the fishnet unitard, leather jacket or pile of black curls, but believe you, me - I've got Cher's "WOAHHHHH" down to a science.

It got me thinking, if I could turn back time - if I could go back ten or twenty years - if I could give my younger self a piece of advice, what would I tell Laura?

Cher was once asked by her mom, "You know sweetheart one day you should settle down and marry a rich man."

And she responded by saying, "Mom, I am a rich man."

I would've told the younger Laura to build up her self-worth and not be afraid to go out and become that rich man.

I would've told her that her personal growth and belief in herself would be directly proportional to the impact she would make in the world.

I would've told her to not be afraid to ask for more money, to own her power and to know that she was worth being paid well.

As I think about what I want to bring into 2022, I've gotten a ton of clarity on my vision (thanks Cher!).

My mission is to help ambitious female entrepreneurs rebalance the scales of financial ⚖️ justice in their favor.

The fact is this - money brings more opportunity and unlocks doors at bigger tables.

And I believe women, with the right financial resources, can do more, and better, than our male counterparts to effect change in our communities, classrooms and capitols.

I am unabashed in my desire to help female entrepreneurs become rich.

Yep, I said it. RICH.

And importantly, to do it without hustling, losing hours of sleep to deadlines, or missing out on our kid’s games and recitals.

And this year I’m putting a stake in the ground.

I want to help 100 ambitious female entrepreneurs build $250,000 consulting businesses.

What gets women from 0 - $120,000 takes one kind of strategy. But learning how to double revenue to $250,000, without doubling yourself, is a whole other level.

The fact is this: What got you to $100k will not get you to $250k.

If you're a woman who wants to grow her consulting business to $250,000 then you're in for a treat. I'm offering a free webinar on January 18th at 12pm ET on exactly that.

Attend How Women Rise: Five Steps to Building a $250,000 Consulting Business in 30 Minutes a Day

There will be a replay available for a limited time, so if you can't make it on the 18th, sign up anyhow.

Giddy up, bitches. We ride at dawn 🌅

With Love,

Laura
